Motor was completely stripped down, all alloys vapour blasted, as were the carbs, motor rebuilt with all original parts, and it runs sweet as.
Cruise on 100 to 130kph all day, gets 180K's to reserve and yes the reserve works, ask me how I know.

I rode it to Tamworth from Brisbane for the VJMC rally in 2018, never missed a beat, and as I have other bikes it gets ridden about every 2 weeks now.
Starts on second or third kick with choke, let it warm and you are away. Great bike.

Bike is on club rego so sold without rego but should pass a roadie easy.

Rest of the bike, (all pre 2018 rally), all blackware repainted, new tyres, chain and sprockets, wheel bearings, head stem bearings, rear brake shoes,
front brake pads and seals, master cylinder, braided lines, fork seals, fork dust covers, side cover badges, wire harness rebuilt.

Seat has new foam and cover, new air box rubber boot, front end is TX500 Yamaha, came on bike, works great.

No chroming was done, bike was built to ride not show.

Some notes, front forks do have minor pitting but for now are holding oil with just a tiny weep.

There is a small paint scratch on top right front side of tank.
Black box on rack will come off on sale, rack will stay on bike.
Small bell on bars will come off, it was a present from my daughter.

So not the prettiest T500 out there but it will serve buyer well, just ride it with nothing to do, add your own style to it as you go.
